“I was born in the UK, an Anglo-Swiss binational, my childhood was spent mainly between, France, and Switzerland. My education later took me to Spain, and my career has led me across the globe, including sixteen transformative years in Asia. After completing my Art foundation as a teenager in France, I pursued fashion design in Madrid, eventually building a career that spanned creative direction and design.

A pivotal moment for me came in the summer of 2019 while I was on Shikine-jima, a small island in Japan. There, I encountered multicolored drift plastic, and it opened my eyes to something profound. What others might see as waste became for me a source of beauty, rich with meaning. The contrast between the way we typically view discarded materials and the hidden potential I saw in them was stark. It was as if this plastic, cast off and forgotten, was trying to tell a story.

Since then, I’ve been passionate about uncovering the beauty and significance in everyday discarded objects. Over the past year, I’ve turned my attention to the overwhelming amount of packaging we encounter daily. By looking at it through fresh eyes, I’m giving this material a final chance to communicate a message, encouraging others to see its materiality, its inherent value, and the narratives it holds. It’s about finding beauty in the overlooked and creating art that redefines waste as something meaningful.”
